I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on a Demo egg but read some comments about the long lines to pick the egg up and that there are retail locations that will sometime match the same price. Has anyone heard of any retailers in Atlanta that are matching prices this year?? Thanks!

Take a few minutes and call a couple dealers near you and ask them.
Always good to buy from your local dealer if you can. They will be ones helping you with future warrantee issues.

How far is your drive? The wait didn't bother me, but I was driving to Barrow County. I was younger then.

I live in South Georgia but will be staying with some family in Conyers. I’ve ask the dealers down here if they could get close to the price and they just laugh at me.

If you are worried about long lines you could always just wait for another eggfest to purchase from. I got mine from Pensacola, did not have to wait in any lines. Depending on where you live it could be a similar travel time. Pensacola's eggfest is in November.

I called some dealers around Stone Mountain today and they thought I was crazy asking them to match the demo deal! So I went ahead and signed up for a Demo! See everyone at the fest!

you get like 5-6 beers per person, just use the wait time to sober up for the ride home.

Do you take the lid off to transport an already-built egg?

I would remove dome and sit on some padding if I had to drive any distance on a highway.  And tie the base/nest down securely.
