Morning All:
My much better half has been asking for some thin-sliced roast beef & onions for a few weeks and finally had a day that I could do it...four onions ready to go on one Egg indirect at about 400...lots of butter & Beef Better than Bullion along with Dizzy Pig Shaking the Tree...
After about an hour I take it off to cut up the onions some plus add some red wine, then back on for another 45 to 60 minutes (finished picture coming)...
For the beef I had a piece of eye of round (cut into two pieces)...used DP Raising the Steaks & Kosher salt...
Cooked the beef indirect at about 300 for almost an hour (finished internal temp was about 115 to 120)...one piece ready for the slicer...
All sliced up & ready to serve...
My open-face sandwich...Cuban bread topped with beef & onions then some Asiago cheese...
The much better half was very happy!
