Eggheads need some advise.

Good evening eggheads, a young girl in our neighbor hood has leukemia and is home after 96 days in the hospital.   This year for her birthday she’s trying to get socks for the other cancer kids (even just typing this makes me want to cry).  I know my little girl gets funky socks from justice, but do any of you know other sources for these (unlikely I know)?  We’d like to give her 50 or so pairs of fun and funky socks to donate.   I guess Akron Children’s Hospital is know for this, it’s almost like a badge/ symbol of their courage.  The thought process is, you’ve lost your hair and people may stair so you might as well give them something to look at.  


Thanks in advance for the heads up!! Also please pray for this family, as i can’t even imagine the difficulties they are facing.

Go to ETSY.com and search for socks. You can purchase direct from folks who make them.....tie dye, whimsical etc. Given the the use case and they may even work with you on price......support artist i say.

I would like to thank the EggHeads for the support.  What started out as a question to find some verity quickly turned into people offering to help.  I talked to her mom tonight and told her I think we may be up to 50 pairs.  My wife has orders 12 pairs as well so we are going to sock it to cancer

@caliking I agree.   It’s also amazing that a little girl battling for her life wants to give socks to other kids!! I’m so proud to be associated with this group of nerds.

Funny how life works. After reading and becoming involved with this thread yesterday I got a call from my wife. Some close family friends 10yr old son was just diagnosed with leukemia. I'm at a loss for words other than **** cancer!!
