Nothing fancy, just some stuffed peppers

We received a variety of different peppers from the neighbors garden, some hot, some sweet. I ended up stuffing them with a mix of mild Italian sausage, rice, onion, garlic, tomato sauce and finally alpha rub. These were cooked at 375 to 400° until the peppers were tender and the meat was done.
It was lots of fun when you were eating them, because you couldn’t tell the difference between the hot in the sweet peppers… It was like stuffed pepper roulette!!

They look fantastic and probably taste even better."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan
