Buckeye BBQ Blitz sauce

Who likes spicy?  Today I made some killer Buckeye BBQ Blitz sauce, it’s so easy to make.

1c water

1/2c yellow mustard

1/2c pure organic honey

1/2c apple cider vinegar

1t onion powder

1t garlic powder

1T paprika

2 habanero peppers chopped

Add everything to a pot and simmer until it is reduced by about 1/2.  It should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon

Give this stuff a try, it is tangy from the mustard and apple cider vinegar. Is has just the right amount of sweet from the honey and  finishes with some heat.

This sauce is the perfect complement to pork or chicken.

I have everything at the house. The habaneros are dehydrated though but it shouldn’t matter.

@ryantt Do you have permission from Chef Norah Grace to use her carefully crafted and developed brand for this thread??  B)

I don't use sauces often, but this sounds good so I'll give it a try. Next time I remember to buy some habs. Might even leave the seeds and membrane in them. Thanks!

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Just got back from the grocery store. Not a single habanero in sight - or any other hot pepper! Will have to wait for another trip. I'm impressed though... I remembered to look!
