Gents & Gals,
I'm getting everything setup for my first cook tomorrow and just want to make sure I have this setup correctly. I bought a Kick Ash Basket and the place I bought the XL from gave me a free 5 piece EGGspander kit.
The ConvEGGtor seems really high up in the XL compared to other pictures of BGEs I've seen on this site. Is the top of the placesetter legs nearly at the felt line? With the grates on top they're above the felt line. Is this right?

I just want to make sure I have this right before my first cook tomorrow.
Thank you!

That looks correct to me. Not to state the obvious but without the eggspander the conveggtor could sit in those notches on the fire ring so it would sit a little lower. However, unless you need more space up top there is no harm in it sitting a little higher.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
