Intro: I started my charcoal journey on a Weber OTG 22". That went two years before I bought a LBGE. Love my egg. I use it often. Last summer I picked up a Weber Performer second hand, gave it some loving, got a new lid from Weber and table. It's a Gen 2 with all the best stuff. Love it as well. Realized I didn't need the original Weber 22" anymore so gave it to my brother. He doesn't use it to its potential in any way but he's not into this stuff like I am.
Now here's my dilemma. .I don't need, but am interested in, the 26" Weber kettle. With the 18" LBGE there's situations for party's I'm cramming stuff in there. In my mind a 26" Performer would be the perfect complement to the BGE but that doesn't exist unless I make my own. The 22" is fine for most family stuff but it runs out of space fast. My rationale for keeping it around is it's just a nice all around grill and I own the rotisserie setup for it which is great.
I post lots on instagram under @matts.garage for pictures of what I typically cook. I'm out there 5-6x a week as I do all the meals for the family.
If money weren't an object I'd be looking at an XL BGE or Weber Summit charcoal, but those are out of the question for the foreseeable future. Has anyone else gone down this path and what'd you end up doing?

You can't go wrong with the Weber 26.
Make a raised 24" grate and you have incredible indirect cooking space on the 24". Very heavy built grill even compare to the 22"Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas
