By special request, I just prepared this app for a birthday party tomorrow night.
- Pack of cream cheese – spread on bottom of baking dish
- Layer of shredded chicken (smoked, as I did, if that’s your preference)
- Cup of Frank’s Hot sauce poured over
- Cup of blue cheese dressing (or even straight blue cheese) poured over
- 2 cups shredded Monterey jack cheese (or old cheddar, and only one cup at that, as I have done) on top
- Bake at 350F for 25 minutes
The bake won’t happen ‘til tomorrow, hence lack of the money shot.

I get the special request. Sounds like a great flavour profile. May have to give it a go. Thanks.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
That looks great- love the presentation. We usually just mix it all together with cheese on top. I like to cut up celery and use the bigger "spoon like" end for dipping. Of course, Fritos scoops are also a must have.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Buffalo dip go hand and hand with a case of beer. Oh so good!"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Only remembered to take a shot about 5 mins after serving.

Gotta say... the one cup cheese was actually much better than the two the recipe calls for, as the chicken was lost in the latter and there were grease pools.
This ratio was a winner. -
Wow

Thanks all. It’s very simple and is a real crowd pleaser.

Great love this idea - very similar to the skyline dip that is super popular here in Ohio. Is that a real cast iron dish? If so how the hell do you season that thing - looks slick as lightning!!Columbus, OH
