Is that a worn heat ring on the bottom of the pan? Is there a number on the notch of the bottom of the handle? It looks like the number 6 but I can't zoom in enough to see it clearly. Would you please post a side view picture of the entire pan?
    Somewhere in Colorado
LBGE, PGS A40 Gasser and too much Griswold cast iron cookware.

No heat ring. Just marks from sitting on shelf at store.
Has #3 on top of handle and capital letter T on bottom of handle. In the small flat spot on the bottom of the handle where it meets the pan has a small dimple/indention.
Im not home but can post side view tonight.
    Thanks

    Good eye.
I will look closer when I get home but I checked it out really well. Might be a casting imperfection. Might be why it went out as a no name pan and not Wagner.

Before you buy, make sure they ring and don’t spin.

It’s solid and flat. And only $3.50.
worse case it will make a great pan to sear scallops on the Egg.
