Cover for Large BGE and Table
PrivateJoker
Posts: 39
I have a large BGE with table. I had originally bought the BGE cover for this grill. However after a 1 year the cover started to come apart. I am looking for a replacement cover. (Hopefully one that will last longer) Any recommendations?

Don't know which cover you got but the newer black ones from BGE are a huge improvement over the older green models

You can kind of see the cover in the background. It is black with green trim.

This is an excellent, heavyweight cover.

Thanks. That one looks like a winner!

I have the black BGE cover on my large & table. It has the "Big Green Egg" logo on it. I've had it for about 6 years. It gets direct sun almost all day and outside of being a little faded it's held up well. It's a heavy canvas like material.

I would recommend a slight upgrade to this cover... The material holds up way better, and very little if any discoloration or fading in the 3 years I have owned it.

Cire69. This is the one that I ordered yesterday. I hope it holds up, but for the price I can't beat it.
Webass - I bought the BGE cover because I thought it would hold up. Yes the material is heavy. My grill as well sits in the sun all day and I get decent wind from time to time. Shorty after a year it started to rip and shorty after year 2 everything started to rip on it. -
DuckCovers.com have good covers, and they will custom make one to whatever dimensions you like. I've bought a couple from them.Cincinnati, Ohio. Large BGE since 2011. Still learning.

For comparison, I picked up a used XL this year, and bought the comparable cover to the one I linked above for the XL. The new cover and the 3-year old cover for the large w/table were pretty much the same color.
