A pair of A-10s from the local Air National Guard base.  Always a thrill.  Anyone know how to post a video - the sound is awesome?

We don't get to see Warthogs around here, but we are entertained by C-17s, Apaches, Ospreys, and Blackhawks.  The musical score is provided by Chain guns, Abrams tank cannons, along with Ma Deuce, SAWs, M240s and M4s.

John, a video hosted on YouTube can be posted just by pasting the link (nobody told me this forever either).  Yours is hosted on iCloud, and I'm not sure if there's a way to post that here wherein the video is right there.
Your link downloaded to my old Apple, and played just fine.
Got to see one tear up a truck at UTTR (Utah Test and Training Range) a few years back, the sheer sound of the gun throbs against your chest!

My buddy Cody is part of the A-10 Demo team. I am insanely jealous of his job.  If you look him up on Instagram (@shivwilton) he posts some pretty slick 360 degree GoPro videos from inside the cockpit.

Wow great video. I  don't get to see too many of those around here. That sound must be outright terrifying to an enemy.

My neighbor back in the early 2000's was a commander for an A10 NG air wing. We were talking one day and he told me to go out in the yard at noon the next day. He flew laps over the house with his wing man low enough for me to see him waving from the cockpit. It was awesome!

I used to live near the C-130 and C-5 refurb facilities at Lockheed/Dobbins. They’d fly over the same time every evening coming back from Texas on their daily round trip to deliver/bring back parts for the F22 and F35 The armed escort fighters are cool to see.

Saw them often when living in FL. Along with a wide range of other aircraft. Could tell when the U2 was spinning up to take off too. This was from 85-97. We were at the end of one of the runways (off the direct path but close enough to see plenty). F4's were pretty common those days.

That's cool.  Around here they do practice missions.  So they fly really low and are in tandem with the CH-47 Chinooks.  Back in the early to mid 90's Peoria used to have b2 bombers there occasionally.  Those are always fun to see in the air.

Had one of the stealth bombers do a fly-over at one of the places I worked in FL (around 1995ish)... Low enough that you got a great view.

Occasionally the air force will do some high speed training when the jets break the sound barrier offshore.  So there we are 60-100 miles out, cruising at 6.5 knots trolling for tuna or marlin, only a boat or two miles away, then BOOM!  Or BOOM BOOM, BOOM!  Scares the crap out of you and shakes the whole boat. If people are sleeping, many will come out on deck with a WTF look on their face. It worse when 2 or 3 jets do it in succession. Once they do it, it is not uncommon for them to do it a few times an hour.  But the first one is the roughest one of the day for sure.

But I have to say that when the navy comes by on an exercise, that is incredible sight to see. Something that big going that fast on the water.  The CG gives a warning if they will be passing though and will instruct boaters not to chase or approach the ship in any way well before you see it. Some of those navy ships when running at speed (and who knows if they are even going at 50%-75% when we have seen them) make us look like we are sitting still, and we are still running at our 25-28 knots. Just awesome in the true sense of the word.

BEEN there done that in the GS off the coast of N. C. I think those boy's like scaring the crap out of us. I was at the NC state High School football championship game at Cater Finley in 2011. At half time a Stealth bomber dropped in at upper deck level before anyone knew he was there. That will get your attn fast.

    Sound of Freedom baby!

My uncle is a retired Marine Colonel and I had several incredible experiences growing up when he was stationed at Cherry Point and we were in Atlantic Beach for the summer. He would buzz the beach at 400-500 feet with his A-6 squadron, and I even got time in the simulator once. Awesome does not begin to describe it

We went to a airshow in Dayton last month and saw the thunderbirds, that was awesome!
We also saw a Harrier do a couple laps at sub sonic speeds, then he brought it in stopped mid air, backed up, rotated towards the crowd, tipped the nose (a nod) and landed vertical.  Seeing that in person is mind boggling and extremely loud!
