SRF Wagyu Denver steaks - aka Zabuton

SRF finally joining the crowds and offering Denver steaks. They are calling them Zabuton steaks, come roughly 6-7 pounds as a whole cut. We cut these down with minimal trimming, and into 7-10 oz portions.

Extremely rich, very very tasty. I’d say this is for someone who loves ribeye flavor, strip texture and doesn’t like to have to cut around chunks of non rendered fat.

Just what I don't need, another bait from SRF.  But thanks for the info.
And you did those extremely proud.  Nailed the finish.  Perfect cross-section.  Congrats.
Edit:  just looked at the SRF web site and Zabuton or Denver steaks are not acknowledged.  Wallet spared for another day  B)
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Not available from their website, yet. I think only available thru their distribution, which is generally not frozen.

Wish we had old @SRFShane around to let us know when the new cuts would be available.

All I can say, is go to your local meat purveyor who had SRF and ask for it. I got it thru a good friend who I help cut meat for.

Retails for close to $35 a pound.
