Wet Lump coal

Weather man said no rain! So I had cleaned out the BGE and put new lump coal in it. Went to the garage to put the coal up came back and a monsoon had come thru. So I just put the grill plate on and closed it and covered it. Are my new coals ruined?

I have read that wet charcoal will dry out and be just fineLrg 2008
