Between the flooding in the nation's midsection, and the constant tornadoes, I hope everyone is doing okay; I also imagine if your house was flooded or damaged you wouldn't be posting on a forum now anyways.  I have three friends in the Dayton area, all were okay but one spent about 4 hours in the downstairs shower, covered with a mattress.  Fingers crossed...

I was spared from some of the N Texas tornados today, but not everyone is so lucky. Hope that everyone is staying safe.

Had a tornado south of me last night when sirens went off, but no damage in town.  Lawrence KS got hit pretty bad just south of city.  Crazy unstable weather right now!

We are South of the current tornado belt but we have had some impact from all that rain North of our state. After all it all funnels into the Mississippi and heads South. That means 750,000 acres of Delta farm land have been flooded for months, two more weeks and the chance of a crop this year are pretty much gone. In addition they opened the spillway diverting trillions of gallons of fresh water from spreading through South Louisiana to going straight into the Gulf of Mexico. That has driven the salinity down to about zero. The shrimp and oyster reefs will be none existent this year and fish are floating up dead. Still our roofs are over our heads...so far.

We got lucky here in Rowlett. No tornadoes. Was picking up Duke from daycare and right when I pulled in the lot, my phone went off saying tornado and to take shelter immediately. All the kids were lined up in the hallway for a tornado drill. Was scary but all we got was rain.

Starting day #9 without a drop of rain in sight and temps pushing 100 with little to no relief in sight.  Record for # of May days with 90 degree days is 11.  We'd beat that but there just aren't enough days left in the month.

Y'all stay safe out west.  We're praying for ya!

There was one in Mabank TX that went off to Canton.  I'm near Malakoff on the lake, too close.  We're lucky, but not everyone was.  Our power is still out, my worst impact is all my foodsaver packs might need tossed.

Snafu here. Wet, planted my corn late, wet, now watching it drown.  Tornadoes blowing through Dayton the other night, we slept through it. Apparently all the in-laws and my neighbors were in their basements... not the first time they didn’t call us?

If it comes to that, you might consider contacting homeless shelters or food banks. I don't know what their rules are, but if it's still good and there's no way you can eat it all...

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Nothing but heat and humidity here in east central Alabama. Auburn/Opelika area. Thoughts and prayers go out to the folks that are suffering with the terrible weather.

It was.  But maybe only a gallon on the passenger side.  Got it dried out within 2 days.

We had a tornado in the field behind our house. My daughter came downstairs and saw it from our back patio door. We pretty much freaked out and went to the basement. Thankfully it headed east and didn't come our way. Decent damage around the area.

Thanks man, our EMS chief didn't fare so well. His place got hit pretty hard, thankfully everyone was OK.
If anyone wants to chip in a few dollars, I'm sure they would appreciate it.
