Seriously contemplating the Joetisserie as my next cooking purchase. Was curious what people think. What else is it good for in addition to chicken? Is it a viable tool for gyros and al pastor or is the ceramic grill store vertical spit a better option at 1/6 of the price. Thanks!

I have one and like it. I use it mostly for chickens and turkey. Not sure if they are any better spun or spatchcocked. I really like using it for prime rib

I haven’t tried a prime rib on the Joetisserie yet but I’m itching to do it. Probably be a holiday cook this fall.

Chicken, rib roast, wings or drumsticks in a basket. Very happy with results using it. SmokinGal has posted about doing a rack of ribs on the spit as well.
I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with it.Cincinnati, Ohio. Large BGE since 2011. Still learning. -
