OT - Pontoon Boat - OT

I am rebuilding a 24' pontoon boat. I would like to lift the boat off the trailer to clean the pontoons. My plan is to lift the boat high enough to slide 2x4's perpendicular to the pontoon about every 24". Do anyone see a problem in this plan?

Should work fine- are you storing the boat on a trailer or lift?

right now its on the trailer, but when it is finished it will be in a slip at the marina

if it’s in a marina you could clean the sides and let it go.
