The shape of that vent on top of the chimney is interesting/puzzling.

I'm puzzled as well. It must be upside down. Looks like a funnel. Seems like that'd be the last thing you'd want.

    Different model.
    Costco also has that one:
The one Ozzie posted is the Torino.

You said Torino. Guess you was wrong. That’s says it’s the Torino. Sometimes these stores have slight variations made specific to them. Idk.

Me...wrong??? I thought you would have known better by now. :)
They are both Torino's but they are different trim levels/models. The one from Lowe's is the FVT300 and the one at Costco is the FVT500.
The main diff between the 300 vs. 500 is the 500 has the stainless steel base and a glass oven door. The FVT500 from Costco also comes with the 5 piece tool set which by itself sells for about $400 which makes their offering a pretty good deal,

By going with the Prestige line I was able to get the stainless steel but not overpay for the nav system, and the wheels were even

Most pizzas ovens are capable of, and often used for, more than just pizza. They are an oven after all.

could be some type of venturi (velocity increaser) but ive never seen one like that, theres usually a secondary inverted top cone.  could just be a spark arrester as well but thats an odd shape
