Korean grilled steak

Skewers of NY strip steak in a Korean marinade.  Accompanied by veggies from the gasser side burner.  Sticky sushi rice.  No plated  pics as errbody ate before pics taken.  This is a marinade I go to often!  

(For 5lbs short ribs)
1 cup brown sugar (applied directly to meat)
1cup soy sauce 
1/2 cup water 
1/4 cup mirin
1 onion grated 
1 Asian pear grated 
4T garlic
2T sesame oil 
1/4t black pepper
 green onions for garnish
