We like to do these a couple times a year.
First, a proper pan:

Then some ingredients. How about a prime ribeye? About a pound and a quarter. Thanks Costco. Sliced against the grain so thin it only has one side.

Then the veggies. Onion, pepper, and garlic.

apply heat.

I first read ryour title as “cheesecake”, so I was only slightly disappointed to see steak. -

I did some strips tonight and thought the same thing, but either way, that is a great-looking sandwich and plate. Great work, Teefus!Philly35 said:That ribeye looks like a strip but either way, I’d hit that.Stillwater, MN -

Correctamundo. I had ribeye on the brain as that's what we usually use. Those strips looked way too good to pass up. The other two in the package were even larger. Bride and I split one and there's still some left for breakfast on a muffin.Philly35 said:That ribeye looks like a strip but either way, I’d hit that.Michiana, South of the border. -

That one has been in the family for over 50 years. It spent plenty of time over a camp fire when I was a kid.bluebird66 said:Love those old Griswold's!Michiana, South of the border.
