Hi all , I’m gearing up to try my first brisket on the egg and was wondering what size should I start with ? And advice on what sides to have with it would be great

I'm no brisket pro but you probably want something 7 or more pounds after trimming. It's not so much a certain weight but how the brisket looks and flops when selecting between them."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Size matters. Bigger is better. I always shoot for the largest that will fit, and that's what she said.Seriously though, in my experience, you'll have a happier ending with a larger piece of meat. I'm sure there's some science behind this but I'm too drunk to recall.______________________________________________I love lamp..
