anyone ever rent a houseboat in FL to go fishing?

I am looking to rent a houseboat in FL for a few days. Go fishing. 5-6 guys, someplace drivable from Columbia, SC

insane amount of options online so looking for maybe someone who can recommend one or two

freshwater, brackish, inshore, whatever is fine with me

probably looking at next March sometime

Go to Santee Cooper and go catfishing. It’s a blast and you’ll catch some monster cats (40+lbs). Then head down to Chucktown and charter a boat. No need to go to Florida.

Santee has great golf courses and it’s cheap. I usually go 1-2 times a year.

It would be pretty cold to noodle in March. My son has a lot of fun when the big ones get under boat ramps.

My brother in law did this trip a few years back with his family. They had a blast. It even came with a private chef to cook there catch.
