Whole Prime Rib

I have a whole prime rib, 15lbs. I am not gonna smoke it, going to roast it in the oven this time. Trim and get it as round as possible, 325 for 15 min per pound, then reverse sear the end. Should I cut that large of a roast in half? Never done one over 8lbs before. Thanks!

Roast it lower at 250 for better edge to edge consistency.
It will cook the same as your 8lber as long as they are similar thickness. Girth matters here, not length. -
I wouldn’t—the larger you keep it, the larger percentage of rare. If you split it, you now have four end pieces instead of two.Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.
