I am cooking Prime Rib on XMAS Day for the first time. Is it worth it to pay extra for Prime?
Any recommendations on cooking methods?

Here's the prior thread for information:
Choice or Prime Bone In Rib Roast
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
I've heard Choice is fine as well, I believe Alton Brown (TV Chef) recommends this as a lower cost alternative.
I am trying a reverse sear this year, here is a link to how.

I always get Boneless Choice Rib Roast. A five pounder is perfect for the two of us. We get two great prime rib meals and some of the best Philly Cheesesteaks you've ever had.Michiana, South of the border.
