I know the ceramic is porous, but I’ve had my egg for 5 years and have never had this happen. I smoked some wings last night and this morning I went to fire it up again for some ribs and saw this??? The wings last night were my first cook in a few weeks and it did get cold last night??? Any idea why this happened? It looks terrible.
Thanks
Thanks

You’re fine. Meat sweats. If you’ve done a few low and slows and kick up the heat it will sweat like that.
First time it happened to me I had done a few low smokes and fired it up to the low 300s and it was humid and it looked like it was bleeding fat.
Lots of posts on here about it. There’s a picture of one you can’t even see the green. It doesn’t happen often but it happens."Brought to you by bourbon, bacon, and a series of questionable life decisions."

Thanks. I’ve seen posts before, it is just bizarre that it has never happened to me so I was curious.
