what a mess

crust was a bust but the mess in the middle was really good. italian marinaded mozz on the bottom, san marzanno tomatoes simmered with ground hard stick pepperoni, then added hot italian sausage and roasted red peppers, fontina and cheddar, italian dry cured capocollo, more fontina, cheddar then topped with more capicollo and proscuitto. like i said, what a mess. dont go to the old italian deli and then buy crust at the supermarket.

Most likely the Italian Deli makes theirs with double 00 flour and has a higher hydration percentage, where the supermarket has less hydration presenting a crisper or over done crust. And some supermarkets are worst than others!!

Sounds like a tasty mess though

Not sure if I'm looking at the before or after consumption photo but either way I'd hit it!

Wow, that's a lotta stuff! With pizza, I usually go with "less is more". Does sound tasty though!
In this case, wonder what would happen if you left out the crust and just layered those toppings with some lasagna noodles.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
