Thanks for the tips - looking forward to trying a few more over the next couple of days. On a side note - Forth Worth is an amazing place to visit. Really wish we had more time here.
Ft. Worth is way better than Dallas. I feel like I can get around the city easier, its less congested, The people are friendlier, its cleaner. Dallas has become a toilet. I dread any time I have to go into Dallas. Almost all of our suburbs are nice. I recommend if you come back to stay in the Grapevine Area. Its centrally located. Come by at Christmas time if you can. Downtown Grapevine is awesome that time of year.
Glad you enjoyed it @ActonSue. And you're right and totally agree with @TEXASBGE2018 too that Fort Worth is a great town for the reasons he states.LBGE

Dallas is a typical big city. If there is something you're into, you can probably find it. From your hotel you can walk to the Arts District / Klyde Warren Park. Klyde Warren usually has a few food trucks... Not far from downtown is the Design District and there are several breweries you can visit. There is always a lot of live music close to downtown. What kind of music are you into? I can maybe guide you a little if I knew when you would be in town, My favorite dive bar/live music hangout is Lee Harveys, which is on the outskirts of downtown. On a nice afternoon I like to go to The Rustic or The Truck Yard and have a beverage or two.Wolfpack said:

The rustic and the truck yard are great. Or grab an Uber and head to Deep Ellum, Bishop Arts, Uptown, or Knox Henderson.DFW - 1 LGBE & Happy to Adopt More...
