There are many places designed to peddle your goods besides the forum you loathe.  Craigslist, E Bay, Amazon, Offer Up.   Obviously your primary objective wasn’t selling, but to effectively act like an outboard motor in a cesspool.  Kudos for a job well done.

Kitarkus I did respond to your PM and look forward to your offer. IF you like you are welcome to drop by this weekend and see for yourself it is what I say it is. I am in Olathe, KS and bought the original blue chiminea years ago at a small hardware store in Gardner, KS. At the time they also had a blue BGE which I had no use for as I already owned one. I can show you the text messages between myself and the buyer of the blue chiminea along with pictures. As for me being legit? All it takes is a quick drive South on I-35.
Kind of an interesting observation? There was a difference between the blue chiminea and the green chiminea. The opening to the blue chiminea was unfinished with a serial number on it. The green chiminea is glazed. The buyer of the blue chiminea was kind of blown away by that as he had never seen a serial number ink stamped onto the opening. Every other green chiminea is glazed over the opening. The buyer of the other chiminea is a serious collector and he's only ever seen another blue. I've actually shared more information with all these EXPERTS than i had intended to share. It will fall on deaf ears as these clowns are more into BS and circle jerking each other than actually learning or cooking.

No problems.  Perhaps I can be of further help too.  In answer to "WHY this offer to sell a chimnea....etc.etc".  (1)  You haven't bothered to post a single photo (2)  you haven't disclosed what parts/pieces are present or missing (3)  you have not offered a listing price (4)  you are expecting all comers to make you an offer privately without any knowledge of whether you (the seller) are reasonable (or not) (5) you did not post in the proper forum section according to some of the posters (6) it seems apparent that your post history has ruffled some feathers among some members who are obviously here more often than I am (7) I offered you $300 cash local pickup and you responded that I could come to verify that you actually own the chimnea...so that you could win a bet with another Poster....a bet that you would have zero ability to collect.  

To sum this up.....the other Posters were right.....you are indeed flaky (at best).  You wish to lord this chimnea over those that desire one...without any real want (and perhaps ability) to actually sell one.

A complete waste of time.

To be clear...you didn't ever formally reject my offer.  You requested that I bid on your chimnea...then you stated something to the effect that you got a super high dollar offer from an out-of-town buyer....but that you weren't certain whether it was some BGEgger that was playing  you....or whether the offer was for real.  I recall you typed a bit about how crazy people are for wanting to spend such money on this chimnea.  I recall that  you requested that I collude with you to win a $100 bet with some other poster who doesn't believe that you even own a chimnea...complete with an offer to split 50/50 the bet winnings....if only I drive to your house to confirm the existence of said chimnea.

My price is MORE than fair and in the original post I did state make an offer and I will accept or reject. You made your ridiculous offer and I rejected. Simple!!!
