Chinese Okra

Has anyone every cooked Chinese Okra? One of my wife's patients gave her some so I have been researching it some. Seem that it is also call a Luffa Gourd or a Ridge Gourd. If picked while young it is supposed to be edible and when ripe (or yellow) it is used as a luffa sponge. I also found references to slicing it and using it like zucchini in salads or stir fry.
I am hoping someone has recipes for it or has cooked it on a BGE.

Luffs is not related to okra. It is a gourd. It is usually stir-fried or used in soups.Weber Kettle, Weber Genesis Silver B, Medium Egg, KJ Classic (Black)
