Looks like you nailed it. How much sausage and how many eggs?

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I did a 6x6 bacon weave.  Put a pound of hot breakfast sausage in a gallon freezer bag and patted it out to consistent thickness. 5 eggs and a few chunks of cheddar. Put a dusting of my pork rub on the outside just for giggles. Added a couple of hickory chunks on the fire for a little smoke.  Turned out great.
