@HeavyG -thanks for access to the link.  Great story and yes the science and data will help dial it all in.  Kinda like the wave of analytics that is now main-stream in Major League Baseball. 

That said, I would guess that the variables in the protein can have a big impact on the end game.  The great majority here always strive for the home-run cook with whatever tools we have (or choose to use) at our disposal.

For me all the analytics and data based metrics would turn a hobby into too much effort/work.  I like to play with fire, wrestle with the protein, pound the adult beverages and aim for a great convergence at the finish-line.  FWIW-
