Crushed to learn them BS pizza oven is discontinued . . anyone know if they are available at any retailer still?  If not, anyone sell me their used unit?

    pizzamaking forum folks say its not being made anymore . . I emailed blackstone asking if a new model or something is in the works.  Super bummed as my new patio has a custom cut-out for this exact pizza oven . . and they are not exactly built to last forever !

    Not sure how I'd get it to you but I have one on my back porch you could have if you could pick it up. Used it a couple times and went back to my XL egg

    Yea I guess this is a difficult thing to ship, lol.  I only need the main unit (no legs or arms which detach easy) but still the stones would need to be bubble wrapped etc . . . grrrr.  If somehow possible let me know, I would pay for unit plus shipping via Venmo or Chase Quickpay, etc.

    Not sure if it's true, I read somewhere a while ago that it has been rebranded as Fornoteca with an astronomical price increase. Still kicking myself for not buying the floor display unit few years ago at Lowes for less than 200 loonies ;(

    On the Blackstone Users Group page on Facebook one member posted this a couple days ago:

    "The pizza oven has been discontinued due to a disproportionate need for product support. It is supposedly being redesigned but there is no firm time frame for its return to production..."

    So...maybe it will return as Pizza Oven V2.0 or maybe not. We'll just have to wait and see.

    @Carolina Q just picked the one in Miamisburg for $175 . . on my way to a sales call . .  could not have been easier.  He said he got an email this AM from someone in Florida offering much more - but he didnt want to ship it.  Anyway, I suck at craigslits, so sincerely thankful for your help !!

    Blackstone is a Utah company, and I see them for sale out of Logan all of the time.  I think its employees selling their own, and the company also sells scratch and dent items.  I got my 22" griddle cheap this way.  Utah doesn't use craigslist like the rest of the country, KSL is the classifieds giant around here.

    this really sucks, of all the kitchen type crap, tools & gadgets I've acquired over my lifetime this one may stand at the top in terms of being simply the best & most ingenious device created for its intended purpose.  They were so inexpensive I wouldn't have expected mine to last forever & always assumed I'd just pick up a new one when mine gave up the ghost

    @zippylip I agree - alton brown would hate it bc only does one job . . but what a specialist it is !!!   Got my S.D. pizza reciple down and know exactly how it cooks on the BS . . Not high quality device & it will break, so glad I secured a backup unit.

    I was thinking about this item about a week ago. It was such a hot item on here and on another pizza forum. I have one and use it weekly. granted I have only ever used it for pizzas, it does it, and does it well.
