Saw the comments from the "tasters" and with comments like "it's like smoked watermelon" or "it has a different texture" it quickly left my "Hey, WATCH THIS" list! :)

I've grilled watermelon numerous times. It does change the texture. It makes it firm up a lot more and gives it almost a tuna like look. Grilled Watermelon is awesome.

    thats a waste of watermelon

    grill the watermelon
    smoke some sugar syrup
    add lime juice
    soda water
into a blender, smoothie maker, whatever
    tequila, rum, bourbon your choice

    optional: salt the rim

    cook a real ham =)

It’s good but not right off the grill you have to chill it. It gets more firm and sweeter. Good with a little salt on it

that looks better than a watermelon cured for 4 days to taste like a ham then hickory smoked all day for 75 bucks

Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting.  The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president.

Ya I thought they were just grilling watermelon steaks and making them look like ham but not pass them off as ham. I didn't realize they are cutting it like a spiral slice ham and smoking it for 24hours to try and "taste" like ham for freakin vegans.

    "It's the real deal."

     For a $75 watermelon?!?!?

I really don't get this sort of thing. If you want to eat something that tastes like ham... go buy a ham.

Saw "grapples" in the store a long time ago - apples that taste like grapes. If you want to eat something that tastes like grapes - eat grapes!

Grilled watermelon may not be too bad though.
