Frozen Boudin how old is still good

I just found some Boudin balls and links in my freezer.  They have been there a little over a year     How do I know if they are still ok to eat.

As long as your freezer is working properly they will be safe to eat for years.
Quality will/could go down due to frost free created freezer burn or air in the bags. That's the only real issue.
    Thank you,

    By cooking them

Depends on how they were packaged and frozen. But pretty sure they'll be fine.

I have used 6 month old links in foodsaver bags, not great, but edible.  When in doubt throw them in some gumbo.
