Work party on Sunday....smoking two butts
WalrusBBQ
Posts: 153
I am going to a work picnic on Sunday and agreed to bring the meat
Two 6.5lb bone in butts to be exact.
The party is at 2 and I was planning to turbo at 350. I usually cook one butt and is 45 min per pound and is awesome
With two butts on the smoker should I anticipate 45 min s per 6.5lbs or 45 mins per 13lbs?
Thank you eggheads

45 Per 6.5 lbs. I would allow 1 hour per pound just in case the cook is taking longer than anticipated. You can always FTC for several hours if needed.
