To access email I have to enter my user name, password, just to get a code number that won't show up because I can't get into my account. What's next, shoe size and wife's measurements?

    I was just in G-mail and didn't get asked for anything new or unusual.  Are you on a different device to access??  Geez- they have all the goods anyhow...

    Of you're using two-factor authentication you need to install the "Google Authenticator" app on your phone.

    Been there and done that when the previous iMac went toes up. My previous net mail account that they sent the number had, get this, been taken over and closed by gmail. Much the same happened to my YouTube account.
