Just posting this for the irony.  I think we hit 100+ degree heat index today in Memphis.  About 2 blocks from my house, The Hallmark Channel was filming a Christmas movie.  (Christmas at Graceland or some such nonsense).  Here are a few pics - one starring my dog.  What I would give for some cooler temps!

If there was really that much snow in Memphis, the streets would be empty, all emergency services would be shut down, and the grocery would look like a trailer for The Purge.

Other than a few college years in Boston I’ve lived my whole life in Orange County and besides trips to LAX I can count the number of times I’ve been to LA/Hollyweird on my fingers... haven’t gotten to the toes yet.  Can’t stand the scene up there.
