Reheating a Pork Butt not shredded

We were having friends over for dinner yesterday, had the butt off of the egg resting for about an hour when I received a call that my daughter had lost consciousness at a friends house.   So we had to take and have her looked at, my wife was in a full blown panic!!!!! I had to remain calm, which wasn’t easy because she’s my kid, and we can’t booth be frantic.  Well long story short we got home from the ER, once Norah had been rehydrated and checked out, which she ok, thank God.   She only was a little dehydrated, which made her electrolytes off, but other than that she’s fine.

I put he butt in the fridge, but it’s not shredded and I want to reheat the whole thing.

My thoughts are to just leave it wrapped in foil and toss it on the grill at 350 to get it hot, then pull it.   Does this seem reasonable to you guys.

I wouldn't bother with a grill. If you want to reheat it whole, just use the oven.

However, you might consider shredding it first. Cut it into chunks, maybe 3-4" and put a couple in a stand mixer with paddle. In no time at all, you'll have cold pulled pork (careful, not to shred too much). Then, into a vac or freezer bag (maybe with some sauce) and into a pot of 160° water for 15-20 minutes.

Here's a demo of the shredding. Works great!

So glad Norah Grace is okay!!

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I reheat pork butt the same way I originally cooked it. Low and slow @ 225-250 degrees.

Thank God your daughter is ok.  What a relief.  As far as re-heating barbecue I've found that putting the meat, whole or shredded, in a baggie in hot water for a period works the best. I've tried it many way and for me, the oven, grill, or stove top doesn't come close to a slow rolling simmer of hot water for about an hour. I did it and it was like it just came off the smoker.

What he said. I’ve even added a little bit of liquid to the foil pack I’m reheating it in. Beer, apple juice, cider vinegar, coke, etc.
