Their Super Premium has the real big chunks.  The just regular premium but still premium has more reasonably sized pieces.  They are family owned and run and based in the Miami area.  I pick up some bags when I am down there for work.  One of the guys of the family was manning their booth at the Sunshine State and was a really nice guy.

Ok sh/tfire it was RW.  If Fogo is any bigger than this I don’t want it, to much hassle to break it down.

I actually just took 2 bags of the 12 I have and stomped the hell out of them and called the dedicated mini and small bags.

@Mattman3969 - I have never seen any pieces close to that size in any bag of RW and I have been burning it for a good 6+ years or so I believe.  But there's always a first-and it is now Saturday night.

I bought a bag of KJ Big Block XL when ACE had the 50% off Black Friday sale as they were out of Rockwood. Firing up my XL. This stuff is ridiculous. No way it’s fully carbonized. Had to pour some RW on top of it to fill in the dead space. I’m not impressed but at least there is truth in advertising.

Last year I picked up two bags of the KJ at Costco during a road show.  Same result as @DoubleEgger.  Used a hammer on the great majority of pieces to down-size.  But it all burns.  Just a matter of managing the burn.

I showed it to the wife and she said it looked like chunks of concrete.

@JRWhitee will be gracing us with his presence shortly bringing short ribs. The KJ will be his problem.  ;)
