These were delicious. Marinated in lime juice, garlic salt, siracha, black pepper and paprika. Topped with an avocado cilantro slaw. Will do these again for sure!

This was my first try at making fish tacos. We don't eat much fish at all so I'm trying to branch out. The marinade I used actually came from Joanna Gaines new cookbook for her fish tacos. I didn't have the ingredients to make the rest of her dish so I just threw together the slaw that was actually a bagged Southwest salad kit from Kroger that I pulled as much of the cabbage out to make the slaw. Who knew...

Thanks Jim! The slaw was actually a bagged Southwest salad kit from Kroger that I pulled as much of the cabbage out to make it. Used the packaged tortilla strips, avocado cilantro dressing and sunflower seeds and mixed with the cabbage. Topped the tacos with that mix and it was perfect.

So you only used the cabbage, dressing, seeds, tortilla strips and package dressing?

Yes sir that's it. I pulled some fresh cilantro from the garden and threw that in the slaw as the packaged cilantro had wilted some. But that's it. Just used what I had on hand.

Thanks Trey! I'm still a tad bitter about the Masters winner this year. Oh well. At least these tacos were good!
