Steelhead trout

Hey all, we bought some steelhead trout today, thinking it was like salmon. Need ideas on preparation and grill set up.

I cook it like salmon, cedar plank direct at 350 I pull at 135IT. Use your favorite fish rub.

Treat it like salmon. It’s tasty.

If they are filets, I'd treat them like salmon. If they are whole, head on, like trout, as they are a giant rainbow that migrates, so stuff their cavity with lemons and dill and cook them on foil, raised.

Treat like salmon.  Aldi had fresh steelhead on sale for $10 recently and we enjoyed it.
