OT — Favourite Pandora Station?

 I  Will heartily recommend the Slaid Cleves Pandora station. Lotsa good south Texas in there!

#2)   Death Cab for Cutie. I like Death Cab for Cutie the group slightly more than Beck.  However, Pandora's algorithm adds instrumentals that are not at all related to Death Cab for Cutie genre.  This is the only station of my > 150 Pandora stations where I think, "why would Pandora play THAT (totally unrelated tune) on a Death Cab for Cutie station?"

My one go-to station when relaxation is truly critical, like a couple weekends ago when I was in the ER on a SXSW weekend surrounded by
- 2 guys who had OD'd on opioids.  After one of them came to and started breathing on his own, he tried to convince the ER doc he only took 1 percoset.  I felt like yelling over the curtain, "oh please! stop lying!" 
- Much worse off was a 2 month old infant screaming in pain.  You know the difference between an infant's cry of pain vs hunger?  This was pain. 

I always thought I could control my stress reaction to things happening around me.  No more.  My pulse went > 100 and I was just sitting there waiting, and waiting, and... waiting (4 hours for the ultrasound technician shared by 3 hospitals to arrive.)

On the good, I was invited to SXSW party where people thought my ER patient wristband and red allergy (iodine) wristband was some sort of VIP thing :-).

thats a gorgeous list, and we have similar taste 

we play the LCD Soundsystem channel a bunch too. That’s a band I didn’t know much about until getting them on. Now, I’m hooked.
