Just had a rotisserie cooked chicken from a friends Webber. I have a large egg and understand the joetisserie will work on it. I love rotisserie chicken, lamb, etc...but is the joetisserie worth $200?

I use mine at least 2-3 times a month. Mostly pork loins and tenderloins. I still prefer spatchcock over the rotisserie. I will use it more when I buy the basket.
I have 1 of my Larges that pretty much just stays in Joetisserie mode.
Its all relative I guess. Is it worth having a $1k Ceramic grill? I dunno, I have a couple and I love ‘em. Probably not for most people.
(Full Disclosure: My Joetisserie was purchased by @Possumtrot. So I guess the real question is “is it worth $200 if it ends up on someone else’s grill”?"Brought to you by bourbon, bacon, and a series of questionable life decisions."

Thanks...guess I'll go ahead a spend a few bucks. Oh, you mentioned that you would use it more often after you buy the basket...what basket??

@nemo just google “rotisserie basket” and look for one compatible. They make them for kebabs, flat, or round like a nut or veggie toaster. Tons of aftermarket options.

Baskets...an undiscovered world. More gadgets to buy...more food to eat. Thanks.

For me, yes. The chicken that comes off that beats my spatchcocked version. IME juicier, and more flavorful. Also much crisper skin. The pork loin I've done has been every bit as moist with as much smoke flavor and a crisper outer layer.Near San Francisco in California

dragging up the past here, but roughly how many wings can these baskets hold? Can it hold 40+ wings?

Doubtful a Napoleon would hold 40 whole wings and give then room to tumble, would be stuffed full. Want enough space for them to shift around as the basket spins. Have the basket, but haven’t had time to utilize it yet. Was thinking today, but the weather isn’t cooperating.

I have had 6 lbs of wings in it, with no problem. Never counted but I would bet that is 40+. -
This is 20 whole wings
