Vegetable Basket

Can anyone suggest a source for a stainless wire mesh basket to roast vegetables on my LBGE? I'm looking for one with a skillet style handle that can be removed so I can shut my lid. I have one of the stamped steel versions with the punched holes but it doesn't let enough smoke through.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Would a fry basket do the job? cut handle off and then use grate lifter or channel locks

My wife got me the high heat nonstick steel frypan from williams sonoma and it works great. They have others like it and some with covers also so you can flip to stir. mine was 49$I XL and 1 Weber Kettle And 1 Weber Q220 Outside Alvin, TX-- South of Houston

I bought two @ Home Depot. SS with folding handle , removed the wooden part of the handle. works wonderful .

Just search Amazon for grill baskets. I have no first hand recommendations as I don't own one.I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

That looks like a good plan. I have a similar one from Williams Sonoma but the handle doesn't come off.Carolina Q said:This one looks pretty cool.

What about grill grates? That's been the best thing I've used for vegetables.

For big stuff the standard grille works fine. I like to do Brussels Sprouts and other small items and it's tough to manage them. One favorite is to cut up several items (onion, pepper, carrot, celery, zucchini, etc.) toss them in a little italian dressing, and roast them in the basket over the flame. Kind of like an open flame stir fry. The wire mesh of the basket is perfect. The problem is I can't shut my lid.thetrim said:What about grill grates?
