    I steer clear of those "reality" cooking shows like the plague, but if one of the eggers from here gets chosen, I'll make an exception.  ;)

    Even Iron Chefs have trouble on Chopped.  It would be fun to do, but not on TV.  Haha.

    They will probably make them use gas grills or stove top grill pans. “ In your basket you have a whole brisket. You have 30 minutes starting .... now”

    Ahh I can see it now...you have a bag of marshmallows, a can of anchovies and water chestnuts and you have to cook a five course meal for 30 guests using only those three ingredients .  And it has to be ready in 55 minutes....

    The reality cooking shows are not entertaining anymore.  The feigned drama and quick action camera angles have grown long in the tooth and have diluted any meaningful cooking experience. 

    Bbq pitmasters is still tolerable but I'm getting tired of the failed attempts at humor when myron mixon is trying to outwit his competitors with stupid insults...especially when I can't understand a word he's saying....
