Nice looking table. Welcome!"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Very nice looking table but you need an air gap under the Egg. Looks like it is sitting on two tiles? Highly recommend a table nest to keep that nice table from burning.XL, Large, Small, Mini Eggs, Shirley Fabrication 24x36 Patio, Humphrey's Weekender, Karubecue C-60, MAK 1-Star General, Hasty Bake Gourmet, Santa Maria Grill, Webers: 14" WSM, 22.5" OTG, 22.5" Kettle Premium, WGA Charcoal, Summit S-620 NG

Table looks great. Will also second the need for an air gap, plus it will give you a little more of a gap between the BGE and table top, which is a god idea.Stillwater, MN

Beautiful table and great work. Welcome to the forum. Agree, get an air gap under that egg so you aren’t the next one showing pictures of your house or deck burning down.Snellville, GA

You should have gotten the little feet when you got your egg. Just slide em up under it and you'll be good. I did the same when I 1st did mine! Great looking table!!!

Are you going to stain it?

In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’ Dare to think for yourself. -
Picked up a table nest this morning. Thanks for the feedback. Haven't had much issue with the temperature yet, It's been hovering around zero here in Michigan for the last 2 weeks, so keeping temperatures around 400 have been a piece of cake. However one of the tiles I noticed has already cracked, which is fine. I'll get the nest under it today.

That is pretty sweet, well done! Designing mine for a springtime build when I figure what I am going to do.
