Egg feet

So I know that you can just throw a paver under it, but I was hopping for something a little less bulky. I looked up egg feet but $35-$40 is kinda much. Anyone have some other ideas?

Lol, I know right? But I guess when they know you can afford a BGE, they assume you can afford anything.Photo Egg said:

Go to a garden shop and get some terracotta planter feet. About $2-3 each.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Not to be that guy, but seriously?! They will work? That’s awesome. Thanks so much!Carolina Q said:Go to a garden shop and get some terracotta planter feet. About $2-3 each. -
everywhere I have seen the table nest has been around $25, but you can not simply put a stone under it, I can show my work on why.

That’s what I was thinking, and didn’t want to learn the hard way.Kent8621 said:everywhere I have seen the table nest has been around $25, but you can not simply put a stone under it, I can show my work on why. -
A pacer is a great way to burn you house down. It's not an insulator, it's just a big heat sync. You need something to make an air gap. Table nest, ceramic feet, little tiles, etc, but you need at least an inch of air gap.GalanteNate_OneEa said:So I know that you can just throw a paver under it, but I was hopping for something a little less bulky. those would work fine if you cant get the table nest, I like the way the table nests look better personally.

Don't know if you have to have 'official BGE feet' but CGS has their brand (4 in total) for $28.50 - a steal!I've slow smoked and eaten so much pork, I'm legally recognized as being part swine - Chatsworth Ca.

That’s a great deal in comparisonSoCalTim said:Don't know if you have to have 'official BGE feet' but CGS has their brand (4 in total) for $28.50 - a steal! -

Issue might be that you priced a nest and not a “table nest” there is a big difference.GalanteNate_OneEa said:

Exactly, I want the best pick, but I know cheapest isn’t always best, and neither is most expensive, hence asking the group. Seems you always get the best answers from the actual users.Woodchunk said:OGalanteNate_OneEa said:So I know that you can just throw a paver under it, but I was hopping for something a little less bulky. I’m sorry @pgprescott I am asking specifically because I won a table and want to safely move from my regular nest and into the table. I just went back and read and realized I wasn’t too specific.pgprescott said:

They most definitely work. I use them under my large egg. You could paint them green if you wanted. If you really want to get fancy, find a pottery place to glaze them green for you.GalanteNate_OneEa said:

@GalanteNate_OneEa: PM me your address and these are yours. I found them at a thrift store - people had no idea what they were - paid a quarter each I think. Was going to use them in a table but that's not going to happen. Happy to send them to you. BTW...what kind of handle is that?

Well I’ll be...thank you so much @TN_Egger I couldn’t be more grateful. As for the handle it’s a goofy military thing. Anytime you get something you have to sign for it, and it’s always described in this fashion. ie Grill, Ceramic, 1 eachTN_Egger said:@GalanteNate_OneEa: PM me your address and these are yours.
