OT - How Did You Do in Fantasy Football This Year?

I just got eliminated from the playoffs yesterday.  My ship hit an iceberg with captain Russell Wilson and first mate Doug Baldwin at the wheel.  Gronks was anemic with only netting a 2 point conversion.  "My team looks much better on paper."  I hope you did better.

I'm pretty salty today.  I feel confidently that I had the best overall team in both leagues I play in. 

Then I played Todd Gurley in the semi-finals (of both leagues) yesterday and got bounced from the playoffs.  Now, I'm fighting for 3rd.

Yeah, Gronks got some yards, but his only scoring was a 2 point conversion.  In.my league, his total point production was an anemic 4 or 5 points.

My league and scoring, he totaled 27.8 pts, which helped that team win, just like Gronk.

As per usual, I stopped paying attention after week 2.

I’m in the finals. League was smaller then normal this year only had 8 teams. Had Todd Gurley and he went off yesterday. Pulled me through to the Championship next weekend.

I drafted Gronk in 2013.  When he was good he was good, but he was constantly banged up and screwing with my game.

I started the season out 2-0. One win since Aaron went down. 

Three years ago we did our draft during the NFL preseason. I had 3 of my starters out for the season before the 1st game of the regular season. 

Can anyone remind me why I play fantasy football again?

Yeah, the game certainly requires some luck.  Unfortunately you've not had the best of it.  It'll come around though.

Thanks! I shouldn't complain. I was able to take some change home with me to buy a small BGE back in 2011. I definitely agree with the luck. It's been a rough couple years. Thats the part of the fun I guess. Like they say, "Any given Sunday".

I'm in the same boat sort of.  Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin & Pete Carroll is my Head Coach.  They picked a bad day to crap out.

Just curious.  Is anyone else in a league that has a head coach on their team?  I have Pete Carroll from Seattle.  If the Seahawks win their game, I get 6 points.

Well, I some how managed to get to the championship.  I'm pretty excited.  Not really sure what to do with Melvin Gordon though.  

This is my third year making the big dance.  Won in 2015, runner up last year, and hope to bring it home again this year.  The winnings would sure help my truck restoration!
