I saw The Last Jedi last night. Interested to hear what you all thought of it. 
I remember when the original Star Wars came out and have been a big fan ever since. Watching my son become a big fan has been fun. 
There were parts of the movie I really liked, and parts that I was kinda ehhh about.

    No I haven't seen it yet. I'm going to see it even though Hollywood seems determined to change all heroes to women and all villains to white men.

    Yes, I saw it last night and I felt the same way.  I thought the general plot and dialogue were well written and well directed, but there were definite moments of head scratching.  Especially Leia's big moment and pretty much the entire Casino arc.

    Agreed. Those were the actual scenes that I was thinking of. Don’t know why it had to veer into anti-war preachiness for a bit, and Leah’s whatever that was was just kinda weird.
