New here. I bought a used medium BGE. Love it so far. I just bought a new convEGGtor for it but it seems to be too tall or taller than what I see used online. It does not sit into the ring. Mine lacks the deep areas for it to sit. Can this still be used or do I have to buy another ring for inside the egg? Thanks.

Any ideas or should I just contact the company and hope they respond. Thanks.

Finally found my answer. I need a new fire ring that will fit the convEGGtor. Not sure if it's worth it. I tried my own indirect cooking method for a chicken last week and it worked good. Won't work on bigger pieces of meat though.
