Smoked Peri-Peri pork chops (with small pics)

I tried some Nando's rubs on thick cut pork chops cooked low n slow over apple then seared. Really tasty, I used a 50:50 combo of smokey BBQ and medium Peri-Peri rubs, served once with triple cooked chips (fries) and coleslaw, and then with sweetcorn and broccoli. For the sweetcorn, I wrapped this in kitchen foil with butter and a little Peri-Peri sauce, worked well. Full details:

That looks wonderful. Have not tried Nando's rub, but the sauce is wonderful.

Great looking chops. I'll have to keep my eye out for the rubs. Only have seen the sauces. The last time I was at the restaurant I only saw sauces there too.Large and Small BGECentral, IL

Cheers folks.
@epcotisbest I tried using the sauce as a marinade during the sear stage, it didn't work, it overpowered the rub and meat flavours. However the sauce does work as a dip on the side for the pork.
@saluki2007 I'm in the UK, the rubs are sold in supermarkets here. Maybe one on your side of the pond sells them.
